Search through the GPSWaypoint databse in 3 easy steps:
- Login to your GPSWaypoint account.
- Define search criteria:
Select 'Waypoints->Search' or 'Routes->Search' in your personal menu.
In the search form define at least one search criteria.
For GPS waypoints you can search according to the GPS coordinates. You can define the
coordinate 'bounding box' using 'Lat From', 'Lat To', 'Long From' and 'Long To'.
You can also define your search using the following waypoint properties:
- 'User' - Name of the user that created the GPS waypoint entry.
- 'Name' - The waypoint name.
- 'Description' - The waypoint Description field.
- 'Route' - GPS Route name the waypoint belongs to (user name must be specified as well).
- 'Country' - Country the GPS waypoint belongs to.
- 'Created' - The date when the GPS waypoint was added to the database.
- 'Type' - The GPS waypoint type.
- 'Comment text' - any string from the user-added comment stored in the database.
- In addition you can select 'Show only waypoints belonging to a route' checkbox. This will restrict
your search and show only the GPS waypoints that are the part of some route.
For GPS routes you can select one or all of the following search fields:
- 'User' - Name of the user that created the GPS route entry.
- 'Name' - The route name.
- 'Number' - The GPS route number(user name must be specified as well).
- 'Country' - Country the GPS route belong to.
- 'Created' - The date when the GPS route was added to the database.
- 'Type' - The GPS route type.
- 'Comment text' - any string from the user-added comment stored in the database.
Selecting 'Any' or 'All' defines if search will succeed when any of the selected
conditions matched or only when it can match all of them.
Submit your search request.
- Select GPS waypoints/routes of interest
You will be presented with the list of GPS waypoints/routes matching the search criteria.
From this page you can add them to your download list and proceed with download to your GPS/computer.
